GENS has two product lines : Generali Vitality, a comprehensive wellness program available in Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, and Poland;

Generali Mobility available in Germany.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) area has traditional finance-oriented responsibilities such as treasury, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting but also negotiation with external and internal partners and assurance of a sustainable and sound product pricing.

• Partner with the CFO to grant the financial stability of GENS and ensure the company operates within the established accounting framework
• Own the financial planning process : plan, budget, forecast, as well as tracking actual performance and decision support analysis
• Supporting the delivery of the necessary inputs to the Group Functions for the consolidation at Group level
• Challenge the financial results and anticipate any risks and escalate corrective measures and proposed solutions to the CFO
• Oversee the cash flow management process, making sure the liquidity position of the company is stable at any point in time
• Collaborate closely with our Accounting Service Centre, providing guidance and support from a business perspective
• Serve as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, ensuring that all information is provided to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control standards.
• Be an effective Finance business partner across all key business areas in the company ensuring that each initiative is financially sound backed up by a business case taking into consideration risk and liquidity planning
• Deliver high-impact presentations to our Generali and Discovery top managers, providing insightful and detailed analysis of our financial performance and strategic objectives
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key regional stakeholders and wider Group colleagues

• Constantly look for costs optimization so to reduce the economic impact on the 7 live countries
• Comfort with ambiguity and operating in a test and learn culture, with a very high level of autonomy and accountability
• We believe in owning the problems : if you find a problem than you own it to solve

Profil

Must have :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years’ experience in the area
• Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, BI skills (preferably Tableau)
• Knowledge of SAP (FI / CO) and related analytic tools (SAC is a plus)
• Highly numerate strong analytically and strong commercial acumen
• Strong presentation / communication skills with the ability to confidently influence

Will be considered a plus :

• Experience on Tagetik
• Holding an accounting qualification internationally recognized (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Worked in more than one country
• Knowledge of health and protection insurance business in European countries

Strong preferences for candidates with flexibility to travel and work in different countries.
