Network Engineer
Role : Network Engineer
Location : Frankfurt (3 days per week on site)
Rate : Freelance, market rate
Length : 6 months (likely 1 year+ with extensions)
Start date : ASAP (end of June at the very latest)
Our client is a Global Technology Manufacturer and leader in innovative Technologies.
Through expansion of their IT Business Unit and a digital transformation project, they are looking to hire an experienced Network Engineer to assist with a large-scale office relocation project.
The Network Engineer will be involved in all things Network related helping to ensure deadlines are hit and the relocation has minimal business impact and downtime.
Living in the Frankfurt Germany area, you will be required to work 3 days per week in their Frankfurt Head Office.
Network Engineer Requirements :
- Minimum of B2 level English & German
- Secure Web Gateway policy changes
- 2nd and 3rd level support for our in-house customers
- Firewall policy changes (Fortigate, Checkpoint)
- Legacy network connectivity troubleshooting
- Vendor support ticket creation and case handling
- VPN administration and change management
Applicants must be currently living in the Frankfurt Germany area, and happy to be office based at least 3 days per week.
