PreMaster Program | Inertial Sensor Systems (f/m/div.)
Job Description
We develop sensor-based algorithms and applications for consumer devices like smart watches and hearables. This job focuses on the analysis of IMU-signals which we combine and provide as orientation to the user.
A good example is the 3D-stereo feature of modern headsets which "know" the orientation of the person's head.
Monte Carlo (MC) methods guarantee reliable results for all sensors under different environmental conditions. MC simulates real sensor signals by adding errors to artificial, perfect IMU data.
You will be part of our team which enhances our MC tool chain for IMUs.
- Learn / fill your gaps concerning inertial sensors and their deficiencies
- Understand how to create perfect data from math. curves or with a motion capture system
- Propose, evaluate and implement enhancements
- Check the use of machine learning techniques to improve accuracy and speed of the simulations
- Use our cloud-based tool chain to collect data and visualize results
- Analyze the data concerning influence of sensor errors or environmental conditions on the results
Qualifications
- Personality : Passionate, imaginative mind and some tenacity
- Working Practice : Cooperative, innovative, goal oriented
- Experience and Knowhow : Basics of inertial sensors and time series data
- Languages : Good English communication
- Education : Very good bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Math, or comparable
Additional Information
The Bosch PreMaster Program (Gap Year Program) is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree .
After the Bachelor's degree, the first phase provides up to 12 months' practical experience for familiarization with technical and business interrelationships.
The second phase comprises the Master's course and includes additional events and seminars as well as personal mentoring on the road to successful completion.
