For our Group Insurance and Corporate Risk department , we are looking for a Risk Manager (f / m / d) . The position is based at our Headquarters in Heidelberg , Germany, and reports to the position Head of Insurance & Risk Management .
In this position, you will have an excellent opportunity to create value through risk management, being a partner to the operational departments and our local entities around the globe.
You will manage global insurance programs but also ensure efficient and compliant risk management processes within the Group.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
Manage the existing global insurance programs, ensuring adequate insurance coverage for the company and its affiliated entities
Review insurance-related measures for risk prevention and optimization of insurance coverage, including on-site risk surveys
Coordinate and continuously develop the claims management process
Monitor the relevant insurance markets and shape the contractual insurance conditions
Ensure groupwide implementation of the operational risk framework
Monitor the development of risks and the group aggregated risk position
Support groupwide risk analysis in close cooperation with other stakeholders at Group and local levels, particularly on ESG topics
Continuously assess the risk management processes, ensuring groupwide risk awareness and compliance with regulatory requirement
YOUR PROFILE
Strong academic record with completed studies in Business Administration, Law or equivalent, possibly with a specialization in Insurance or Risk management
3-5 years of professional experience in Insurance and / or Risk management,
Solid knowledge of insurance markets and products
Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to details
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Great team player with a proactive working style
Fluent in English and German, any other language is a plus
