We are currentlyseeking an Account Manager Drug Discovery forCentral / South Germany and Austria who will be responsibleachieving regional sales target within budget constraints tocontribute to the overall corporate sales growth and strategicobjectives.

Whatwe’ll get youdoing :

Achieveassigned sales targets while remaining within the establishedexpense budget and providing customersatisfaction

DirectTerritoryDeliverables

Achieve AnnualQuota in designatedterritory

Achieve MonthlyQuota in designatedterritory

Provide prompt andaccurate forecasts asrequested

Participate toprogrammed funnel reviews and marketing reviews whenrequested

Provide allreports when requested by manager within settimescales / deadlines

Developand maintain accurate TerritoryPlan

Identify,qualify, develop, support and close sales of the Molecular DevicesDrug Discovery systemportfolio

Prepare andpresent basic product demonstrations, also in a team with thededicated Application Scientist, to existing and potentialcustomers.

Develop, update,and maintain to a high degree of accuracy and integrity, theprospect database (SFDC) and existing customer list and monitorsales growth

Close liaisonwith the rest of the team to ensure magnificent customer supportfrom initial interest to post-salessupport

Maintain a highlevel of technical and application competence of Molecular Devicesproducts

Monitorcompetitor’s activities, products, and potential new or improvedapplications or productextensions

Evaluateeffectiveness of Molecular Devices’ marketingprograms

Provide monthlyrevenue and product forecasting, quarterly plans of action, status,and expense reports

Attendtrade shows, seminars and workshops as well as maintaining customercontacts to develop and improve salesskills

Perform other relatedduties as assigned

Takeownership for own personal development and know about the marketandcompetition

Theessential requirements of the roleinclude :

BSc degreeor higher, preferably in life science technology with a (molecular)biology background orequivalent

At least 3 yearssales experience in relevant field. Must be able to demonstrateability to develop a sales territory & achieve targetconsistently

Shown successin direct sales of high value capital equipment to pharmaceutical,biotechnology, academic and government research laboratorycustomers

Essential excellent English & German languageskills

Have excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, particularly in areas ofnegotiation, persuasion, research & problemsolving

Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein :

Strong workingknowledge of MSOffice

MS-Teams, SFDC andMS-Power BI knowledge

Behighly motivated with demonstrative interpersonal, presentation andorganizational skills

Theability to work with a high degree of independence,self-starters

Ability towork together in a constructive way with peers, subordinates, andseniors in anticipating and resolvingissues
