Senior Advisor / Manager Commercial Sales Excellence
Role Overview
Responsible for business development and sales analytics in the EMEA region that meet the organization’s short and long-term business objectives.
Comply with regulations and standards and protect the organization’s public reputation. Accountable for achieving the sales and profitability goals of the organization.
This role provides important analysis and insights to the sales team.
Reports to : VP Commercial Business Development & Execution
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy Planning / Market Development
- Develop and drive Commercial Excellence initiatives, coordinating with global, regional and local country leadership in support of key decision making
- Make Commercial Excellence a differentiating core competency, supporting exceptional customer relationships, and driving revenue growth
- Lead and support the implementation of innovative tools and sales strategies to optimize the impact of new product launches in alignment with global strategy
- Lead building new sales organization capabilities through workshops, training and implementation of relevant tools (CRM) and Commercial Excellence initiatives
- Drive sharing of key business insights through the development of dashboards to track sales force effectiveness, program efficiency, and to ensure the adoption of sales automation tools
- Strategic and tactical planning and analytical skills proven ability to identify / define business questions and issues, synthesize information from multiple sources, conduct analysis, formulate actionable recommendations and confidently recommend a point-of-view to different levels of management.
Requirements
Experience
- 3+ years in Commercial Excellence, Business Analytics or Commercial Analytics or similar role; preferred in Medical Device / Ophthalmology
- Strategic and tactical planning and analytical skills proven ability to identify / define business questions and issues, synthesize information from multiple sources, conduct analysis, formulate actionable recommendations and confidently recommend a point-of-view to different levels of management.
- Proficient in using MS Excel, Power BI, Share Point and Data connecting tools

Academic Qualifications
- University degree preferably in Business or Engineering (MBA, PhD or other relevan degree is a plus)
- Excellent command in English; additional skills in EMEA languages is a plus
Travel Requirements
As per business requirement (20%-30%)
