Job Summary : The Reimbursement Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the reimbursement processes for our medical devices.

This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, developing effective reimbursement strategies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth reimbursement operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Reimbursement Strategy and Management :
  • Develop and implement reimbursement strategies tailored to our medical devices, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in medical device reimbursement and adjust strategies as needed to enhance revenue and market access.
  • Regulatory Compliance :
  • Ensure compliance with German and EU regulations specific to medical device reimbursement, including healthcare laws and payer policies.
  • Stay informed about changes in medical device reimbursement regulations and guidelines, adjusting policies and practices as necessary.
  • Claims Processing and Management :
  • Oversee the preparation, submission, and tracking of reimbursement claims for medical devices to health insurance providers and other payers.
  • Address and resolve any issues or disputes related to reimbursement claims promptly and effectively.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration :
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, payers, and internal departments to gather necessary information and support reimbursement efforts for medical devices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate efficient reimbursement processes.
  • Reporting and Analysis :
  • Generate and analyze reimbursement reports specific to medical devices to track performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on reimbursement metrics and outcomes related to medical devices to senior management.
  • Team Leadership :
  • Lead and mentor the reimbursement team, providing guidance, training, and support focused on medical device reimbursement.
  • Create a collaborative and results-oriented team environment to drive performance and professional development.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in reimbursement management, with a strong background in the medical device sector.
  • Proven experience managing reimbursement claims for medical devices and interacting with healthcare providers and payers.
  • In-depth knowledge of German healthcare reimbursement systems and payer requirements specific to medical devices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data related to medical device reimbursement.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both German and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and reimbursement management software.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
