Senior Backend Developer - Rust (m/f/d) for the renewable energy industry

Tasks
We are seeking an experienced backend developer proficient in Rust and skilled in multi-threaded and concurrent programming.
In this role you will be a primary developer for a complex product, and you will be required to occasionally travel to the remote locations where our products are installed.
A passion for the energy transition and experience building products from scratch are highly valued.
- Write clean, maintainable and high-quality and performance code
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
- Support test and deployment of new products and features
- Participate in code reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 5+ years back-end development experience
- Professional experience working with Rust
- Expertise in concurrent programming, functional programming, object oriented design, and time-series databases
- Experience building products from scratch
- Excellent communication skills
- Team-lead experience a plus
- Experience with communication protocols (Modbus, CAN, M-Bus) a plus
- Experience with power systems a plus
