Skeleton's Information Systems and Operational Excellence team is looking for a driven and experienced

Head of IT (m / f / x)

to lead the world's biggest Supercapacitor manufacturing's digitalization. This is a role with a broad information technology domain mandate.

This role is leading the Group IT strategy, main processes, and the role is reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer.

Your responsibility areas :

IT Team Leadership : Build and lead a high-performing IT team, including hiring, training, and developing IT professionals.

The current team has 10 people - IT Support and Project Management, ERP Development, and Manufacturing Digitalization.

Digitization of Manufacturing (Industry 4.0) : Be familiar with best practices and practical use cases of digitization of manufacturing.

Lead initiatives by identifying opportunities to leverage technology for operational efficiencies and product innovation.

• Compliance and Regulations : Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to data privacy, quality standards, GDPR, and environmental regulations that may affect the company's IT operations.
• Strategic Technology Leadership : Providing strategic leadership in aligning technology initiatives with the company's business objectives.

You should be able to develop and communicate a clear technological vision and strategy.

IT Governance : Establish and enforce IT governance processes and policies to ensure that technology investments are aligned with business priorities and that there's proper control over IT resources.

Standardize and optimize service delivery and IT development processes to improve internal customer experience and manage resources effectively.

• Infrastructure Management : Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers, to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
• Cybersecurity : Develop and implement a robust cybersecurity strategy to protect the company's digital assets, customer data, and intellectual property.

This includes managing cybersecurity tools, conducting regular audits, and staying updated on the latest threats.

Master Data Framework, Management, and Analytics : Create a set of processes, tools, and strategies that focus on creating and maintaining a centralized, consistent, and complete repository of essential business data related to products, materials, suppliers, customers, and other critical entities within the manufacturing ecosystem.

Manage data effectively, ensuring that it's collected, stored, and analyzed to provide insights for informed decision-making.

Implement data governance policies and data privacy measures.

• Vendor and Partner Management : Oversee relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners, ensuring that the company gets value for its investments and stays ahead of industry trends.
• Budget Management : Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet business needs while controlling costs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in aligning technology strategy with business objectives and driving digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead IT teams and manage vendor relationships.
• Experience in IT budget management and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IoT, AI, and automation technologies.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and compliance with industry regulations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s / MBA preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP) are desirable.
