Principal Field Application Engineer
Our Client is a global leader in the Semiconductor industry focusing on AI, Vision and Image Processing.
They are seeking a Principal Field Application Engineer to join their EU division in Germany to provide support to the European market.
Your Responsibilities :
- Drive design victories with specific EMEA automotive clients.
- Aid in pre- and post-sale activities throughout Europe.
- Be a dependable advisor for clients seeking advice on implementation, specification, and viability.
- Co-develop technical answers with marketing and manufacturing specialists to customer RFIs and RFQs.
- Putting together, presenting, and keeping up demonstrations at trade shows.
- Assessing customer-facing materials and releases, and setting up reference design and development systems for the client
- Technical liaison between clients and the team.
- Support frequent internal communications about important customer activities, such as identifying hurdles, success criteria, decision-makers, timeliness, and important sourcing aspects.
Your Qualifications & Requirements :
- BSEE as minimum.
- 7+ years of expertise in customer-facing positions with embedded semiconductor solutions that include sizable amounts of software, tools, and systems.
- A proven track record of successfully launching customer products and experience working with automotive clients.
- Practical familiarity with end-user car equipment, with a focus on image and video processing, radar, and other environmental sensing technologies (such as LiDAR and ultrasonic).
- Proven track record of traversing big, intricate customer organisations to get in front of important engineers and executive decision-makers.
- Strong communicator with well-established customer ties.
- The capacity to operate both independently and cooperatively in a global go-to-market team.
- You must be living in Germany for this role.
