Document Controller
Skills / qualifications :
- College degree or diploma with experience in document scanning process
- Experience working with refinery documents, should be able to recognise engineering and other type of documents
- Experience working with electronic document management system
- Language proficiency in English and German, reading, writing, and speaking
Well-versed with office tools like MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the overall document scanning process at the customer Refinery at Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
- For Document scanning outside the facility, performing activities like Document packaging in the boxes, validating the content of boxes, preparing box labels, maintaining a master list of documents, approval from customer POC at the site for dispatch, dispatch preparation and dispatch.
Once boxes have been returned, receive the boxes, validate the content of the boxes as per labels and hand them over to Site POC to store at the physical archive.
- For Document scanning at the facility, picking up documents from different departments, scanning using scanning machines at the site, and storing the electronic files at the online repository to process further.
- Provide technical support as needed. This may involve troubleshooting scanning equipment, software issues, or other technical challenges that arise during the project.
- Ensure that the scanning process meets the client's quality standards. This may involve conducting regular quality checks, implementing quality control measures, and addressing any quality issues that arise.
- Address any queries or issues raised by customers promptly and professionally.
