Senior Electrical Engineer - Relocate to Karlsruhe
Silverback is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Lionheart project. This role involves acting as the Client representative, overseeing contractors' electrical engineering work, particularly in medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution systems and related protection, control, and supervision systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor Engineering Progress : Report to the Lead Engineer or Project Manager.
- Design Management : Ensure proper collection and recording of electrical design requirements.
- Interface Coordination : Oversee integration between electrical and other discipline designs.
- Equipment Sizing : Prepare or review load schedules and power system studies.
- Client Representation : Attend design meetings, FATs, and support procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Handover : Ensure a smooth transition to the Electrical Operations & Maintenance manager.
Skills & Requirements :
- Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience : 5+ years in electrical design / engineering for heavy industrial facilities.
- Technical Skills : Experience in LV, MV, and HV networks; familiarity with diagramming tools (MS-Visio, AutoCAD).
- Language : Fluency in English; German is a plus.
- Personal Attributes : Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn are essential
