Product Manager

As a Product Manager specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), you will be responsible for driving the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of our BESS products and solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers and align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Strategy Development : Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for BESS, including defining product roadmap, feature prioritization, and go-to-market plans.

Collaborate with senior management to align product strategy with overall business goals and market trends.

Market Research and Analysis : Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the energy storage industry.

Use insights to inform product strategy and prioritize feature development.

Requirement Definition : Work closely with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.

Define clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Ensure alignment and effective communication to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Product Development Oversight : Provide leadership and direction to development teams to ensure successful execution of product roadmap.

Monitor progress, resolve issues, and make data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation and mitigate risks.

Product Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy : Lead product launch activities, including defining positioning, messaging, and pricing strategy.

Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop collateral, conduct training, and support go-to-market efforts.

Product Performance Monitoring : Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track product performance post-launch.

Analyze data, gather customer feedback, and iterate on product features to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications governing BESS products.

Stay up-to-date on industry developments and proactively address compliance requirements

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of success in product management roles, preferably within the energy industry and specifically with BESS products.
• Strong technical background with understanding of energy storage technologies, grid integration, and power electronics.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinker with ability to translate market insights into actionable product plans.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and product management tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to energy storage systems is a plus.
