Account Manager Switzerland - Dorel Juvenile

How to achieve this mission? By optimizing the business relationship with existing national (key) accounts and realizing the sales targets.

This is what the position looks like :

This role consists of 10% new business and 90% relationship management. As an account manager at Dorel Juvenile, you ensure that the execution of the account plans is realized.

In such a way that (at least) the turnover targets are realized. Besides that, you maintain or improve numeric and qualitative distribution and potentially expand distribution of our products in a way that ensures sales targets are achieved.

You analyze and report the sales results in such a way that it is possible to correct or change the (sales) targets on time for realization.

In this position you work closely together with the Sales Administration, Operational Marketing, Retailer Care, and After-Sales departments.

The goal? Insuring optimal customer relationships. But with customers, you logically also ensure a good and professional relationship, in such a way that they are and will remain satisfied with Dorel.

  • You will immediately be employed by Dorel Juvenile and receive a permanent contract.
  • The position is full-time (39 hours), starting as soon as possible.
  • An annual salary of €70,000 max. based on your experience and knowledge, with room to grow.
  • Besides that, you are eligible for our 20% sales bonus plan and a 13

month every year. Also, Dorel Juvenile uses 13,96 salary payments throughout a year.

  • The annual leave entitlement consists of 27 vacation days (+ pink Monday) in the case of full-time employment.
  • A company car according to our lease plan.
  • You get a credit card on which expenses can be booked and there are arrangements for budget around overnight stays, lunch, dinner, etc.
  • Other terms include travel expenses, use of a laptop and telephone.

What to bring?

  • A demonstrated and solid experience in sales and a background in the Swiss market.
  • A fluent command of the German language. In addition, you can communicate in English with our headquarters in the Netherlands, for example.
  • In possession of a driver's license.
  • Independent, mature and responsible : you are often independently on the road and the go to person for retailers in your region.

And with your data-driven and valuable plans you ensure a clear course, and you are always in the lead.

  • You are able to plan your own agenda, suggest improvement plans and report back to your manager. Do you have doubts? Then we'd rather see you make a well-considered decision at the moment, even if it turns out not to be the perfect solution, than have us chew out everything for you.
  • Even though you will be working in a sales position you will be working in a market and with a product that involves a lot of emotion.

The products are not only aimed at children, but the retailers are also very involved. You have an excellent sense of how to deal with various situations and can think along with the customer without losing sight of the big picture.

This interview will be conducted in English.
