You will work in this team :

We are responsible for IT hardware and infrastructure contracts as well as strategic cloud, software and IT security contracts with global companies.

We therefore form the backbone of our IT landscape on the purchasing side and make a significant contribution to the company's success.

Together with our business partners, we plan and manage purchasing projects and translate corporate goals into purchasing strategies in order to procure the best IT solutions for Mercedes-Benz under ideal conditions.

We generate real added value and work in a future-oriented environment with global supply chains. We are a strategic partner for our colleagues from IT and other areas.

Your challenge

Support cross-functional project management : You will manage large contracts - from the inquiry and commercial negotiations with suppliers to the conclusion of the contract.

You will support a cross-functional team in making the relevant decisions

• Negotiations : You help develop negotiation strategies and coordinate negotiations with the involvement of our business partners and various hierarchical levels
• Preparation of negotiation results, creation of management presentations & visualization of key figures to prepare management decisions for awards
• Analyzing complex situations and processes : You analyze the complex and constantly changing market environment in IT and derive useful insights and recommendations from it
• Internal efficiency improvement : you apply your fresh perspective to improve ways of working and optimize processes through the use of technologies such as AI

Qualifikationen

What you bring with you

• Studies : Degree course in the field of business administration, technology or economics
• Experience - an interest in purchasing or in the IT infrastructure / cloud environment is an advantage
• Negotiation and communication skills - you have strong team communication and strategic negotiation skills
• Personality - You score points with a combination of personality, sensitivity in dealing with business partners, quick comprehension, passion for change, a high degree of initiative and commitment as well as the ability to deal with conflict
• Team spirit - you actively implement your high team orientation and thus shape a project culture with mutual support and strong cohesion
• Language - You are business fluent in German and English and can ideally contribute intercultural competence and work experience
