Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM
In the Smart Sensing department, we work on sensor systems for enabling best-in-class automated driving and parking as well as advanced driver assistance systems.
We are responsible for a wide variety of ADAS / AD sensors and perception software such as cameras, radars, lidars, ultrasonic and microphones, enabled by sensor software and electronics.
As a System Development Engineer, you will work in a diverse and dynamic team and in a collaborative and innovative environment, with like-minded individuals who share a passion for cutting edge technology.
Developing our components and functions for the biggest vehicle fleet in the market we will make automotive mobility safer and create the new comfort of driving.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Definition of software requirements for our smart sensors, sensor drivers and associated software components
- Creation, execution and monitoring of a software feature release plan distributed across different integration steps and with different maturity levels.
- Version control and management of the sensor software
- Monitor progress and resolve any issues or roadbloacks regarding basis software
- Coordination of error tickets and distribution in different disciplines across the team
- Ensure fulfillment of basis software stability and lifecycle management
WHO YOU ARE
- Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field or comparable qualification
- Experience in embedded systems for automotive and microcontroller programming
- Good programming skills in C, C++, Python, compiler and linking tools
- Knowledge in embedded concepts like watchdog, scheduling, bare metal programming
- Expert Knowledge in Vector Tools such as CANoe and CANape
- Knowledge of functional safety according to ISO 26262 and security according to ISO 21434 is a plus
- Analytical and hands-on mindset, curiosity, structured way of work and eagerness to be a team player in a diverse environment
- Driving license required
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
