Role Overview :
In this role, you’ll work on developing and maintaining high-quality web applications with a team dedicated to Agile principles.
As a senior member, you will take ownership of key development projects, lead code reviews, and mentor junior team members.
Your expertise in Java, combined with your ability to communicate effectively in German, will drive the success of each project phase and foster a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable web applications using Java in an Agile-driven environment .
- Lead development processes, conducting code reviews, and driving best practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends, integrating new tools and frameworks as appropriate.
Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong background in web applications.
- Proficiency with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies .
- Advanced German language skills (C1 or above) , necessary for effective team and stakeholder communication.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs , and experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with front-end languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is beneficial but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
