The Mercedes-Benz plant in Berlin is the oldest manufacturing plant in the field of conventional engine technology. The transformation of the Berlin site is a symbol of change in the automotive industry.
Electrification and digitalization are the core pillars of our corporate strategy. By developing Berlin into a center of excellence for digitalization and allocating production volumes in the field of e-mobility, we can successfully secure the future of our traditional Berlin location.
As the HR Management team, we are making an essential contribution to the transformation.
Your tasks :
Get to know the challenges and complexity of workforce management and HR work as an intern in a 6-month internship and actively participate in the following tasks as part of the varied day-to-day business.
- You will get to know various facets of HR work by supporting recruitment activities and personnel adjustment programs
- You will provide support in the varied area of attendance management and accompany the process of operational integration management
- You will gain an insight into the work of an HR business partner and take part in our team meetings by working in HR support and personnel development processes
- You will gain insight into the implementation of labor law research, e.g. legal interpretation of works agreements and, if necessary, the preparation and support of labor court proceedings
- You will be involved in current projects
- You will independently prepare regular appointments including the associated data, prepare various correspondence and check the corresponding responses
- You can actively contribute your ideas as part of the digitalization and automation of HR processes
Qualifikationen
- You are studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, social sciences or a comparable business or social science course, ideally with a focus on human resources
- In addition to being open-minded and highly motivated, you have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team
- Your quick comprehension and initiative help you to familiarize yourself with topics quickly
- Ideally, you already have some practical experience, particularly in the field of HR and / or employment law
- Confident with MS Office
