We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to lead the efforts in market penetration and build strong, lasting relationships with the key accounts in the field of ophthalmology.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust network and a proven track record in this industry.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts in the ophthalmology sector, including hospitals, clinics, and key opinion leaders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and concerns and providing timely support and guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute account-specific strategies to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Identify new business opportunities within key accounts and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and training sessions to key accounts, educating them on product features, benefits, and best practices.
- Attend industry conferences and events to network with key stakeholders and stay abreast of industry developments.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines in all interactions with key accounts.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in key account management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong understanding of the ophthalmology market, including key players, market dynamics, and trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and verbal
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet with key accounts and attend industry events.
