Head of Artificial Intelligence - Freelance
Description :
We are in search of an accomplished Head of AI to lead the AI division.
This pivotal role entails establishing an elite AI team and strategically incorporating AI solutions throughout products and business operations.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Able to get stuck in with limited guidance 10-20%
- Develop and execute a robust AI strategy in harmony with business objectives.
- Introduce AI innovations across diverse products and services.
- Guide, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing AI team, promoting collaboration and inventive thinking.
- Supervise AI solution design, development, and deployment, ensuring quality and scalability.
- Collaborate with Engineering leadership to seamlessly integrate AI into existing offerings.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align AI initiatives with company goals and effectively communicate outcomes.
- Ensure ethical AI applications in compliance with legal and industry standards.
- Provide counsel on AI implementation strategies to senior leadership.
Qualifications and Background :
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of AI / ML, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
- Established track record in constructing and managing successful AI teams.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and Java, coupled with expertise in AI / ML algorithms and data modelling.
- Robust problem-solving, analytical, and project management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across different functions.
- Demonstrated AI projects that highlight innovation and significant business impact.
- Fluent in English and German
