- Master's degree in natural sciences
- Experience with Animal Handling : Proficiency in animal handling is crucial. Experience with neurodegeneration models is highly desirable.
Certifications in animal handling and care or having a completed FELASA course certificate is also an asset
- Advanced Imaging Skills : Experience in using platforms like confocal and two-photon microscopy, in vivo imaging systems (IVIS) would be advantageous
- Pharmacological Testing : Experience in administering and evaluating the effects of therapeutics in animal models
- Behavioral Testing : Experience performing behavioral tests to assess cognitive as well as motor function in mice is desirable
- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Candidate Attributes : We seek a candidate who is passionate about research, highly interested in exploring neurodegenerative diseases, and ambitious in making significant contributions to therapeutic advancements
