Founders Associate Intern – Strategic Finance (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS

• Work directly with our Co-Founders and leadership team on high-impact strategic and financial projects.
• Perform detailed market analysis and competitive research to support growth strategy development.
• Assist in building financial models for business planning, budgeting, and analysis of key metrics.
• Support the refinement and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies, identifying new opportunities across industry verticals.
• Prepare materials and presentations for discussions with investors and potential partners.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and contribute to strategic initiatives.

YOUR PROFILE

Degree : Completed Bachelor’s degree and enrollment in Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields.

A science background paired with a strong business acumen is also possible.

• Work Experience : Prior experience in investment banking and / or strategy consulting is a must. Experience at a tech startups or venture capital (VC) is a strong advantage.
• Specific Work-Related Experience : You should have proven that you have strong conceptual thinking and a mastermind in leveraging Google & AI tools like ChatGPT for enhanced productivity.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word are essential.

• Soft Skills : Most importantly, you must be a team player. Furthermore, high ambition combined with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proactive and self-driven with excellent communication skills are required.
• Language Skills : Fluent in English and preferably German; other languages are a plus.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Desire to become a tech start-up founder yourself. Also, if you pursue a career in VC, this is the right move for you.
