ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Being responsible for all consumer facings brand communication (analogue incl. perm tools & digital) & activities in retail
- Develop and implement innovative activation campaigns to drive product visibility and sales at retail locations on-time-in-full considering budget, commercial targets and quality
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, providing guidance and support to team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mainly commercial unit stakeholders like customer management, business development and field force and area category teams) to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives
- Active engagement and steering of various agencies
- Manage budget allocation for POS activations and ensure cost-effective strategies are implemented
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of POS campaigns, providing insights for continuous improvement
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to optimize POS activations and enhance brand presence
- Stay updated on industry best practices & emerging trends in POS marketing to drive continuous innovation & success
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
The ideal candidate for this role has / is
- University degree with focus on (strategic) Marketing
- 3 years’ of relevant working experience in Marketing functions within a multinational FMCG company incl. a strong affinity towards brands and activation
- good understanding of BAT Brands and Brand Marketing & Trade experience
- Strong, proven people leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Great communication skills and flexibility, high level of resilience and independency
- Effective presentation and networking skills combined with the interest and capability to establish new solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of ways of working, thereby leveraging technology where relevant
- Strong analytical thinking and high conceptual capabilities
