Technical Purchaser

Faststream is currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join a prominent ship-owning and managing business based in Germany.
Renowned for its excellence in maritime transport, our client is dedicated to maintaining and strengthening their market-leading position.
About the Role :
As a Purchasing Officer, you will play a crucial role within the procurement team, responsible for processing purchase requisitions from vessels for spare parts, consumables, and services.
Beyond transactional duties, you will spearhead supply strategy development and bulk purchasing initiatives to support vessels and associated projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process purchase requisitions efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement strategic supply initiatives.
- Manage bulk purchasing to optimize cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
