About the Role :

To strengthen its sales team in Europe (headquarters in Luxembourg) and accelerate its growth, they are hiring an Account Manager on a permanent contract for the German market.

Reporting to the Director of Europe, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing contracts, while also managing long-term client-partner relationships.

  • In the initial phase of the sales process, you will be responsible for prospecting various identified customer segments, developing new client relationships, and expanding existing ones to drive sales of our software solutions.
  • You will arrange meetings to present the company’s offering for optimizing complex energy systems and develop pre-qualifications and commercial and technical proposals by identifying applicable legal requirements for these business opportunities.
  • You will also lead contract negotiations, covering both commercial and technical aspects, and establish industrial and / or commercial partnerships.
  • In the follow-up phase of contracted projects, you will ensure relationship management and commercial and contractual follow-up with the client, define internal project objectives in line with contractual objectives, and ensure compliance with the administrative and financial aspects of the contract as well as mutual commitments.
  • You will provide monthly project progress updates in collaboration with project managers, offer customer support in coordination with development managers, and undertake frequent travel within Germany.

Your profile :

  • Ideally an engineering degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling complex software or Energy solutions.
  • Experience in the energy sector or related is a must.
  • The ability to develop a commercial strategy and work in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Understanding customer needs, articulating the company’s vision, and collaborating effectively.
  • Proficiency in English and German.
  • This opportunity will require frequent travel in Europe.
