Description
FLOCERT is looking for a customer-, service- and detail-oriented Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Service Officer to support the Stakeholder Service Unit and the Operations Department.
In this position you will be dedicated to supporting
1. operational activities within the Operations Department (OPS) (70%) and
2. running the Stakeholder Service Desk (30%).
You will contribute to reliable operational and certification related data, support OPS internal activities and act as the first point of contact for assigned stakeholders with regards to operational and certification related questions.
The ability to support stakeholders and colleagues through their needs and the attention to detail, willingness to learn, and collaborative spirit are essential assets for this position.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure data quality of Fairtrade certification related data
- Support collation of information for the operations department budget
- Support Operations activities, e.g. assist with preparing capacity planning, ensure corrective measure implementation after internal audits
- Data governance, e.g. assist with data request procedures
- Manage, retain and build FLOCERT’s relations to stakeholders (i.e. national Fairtrade organisations, Fairtrade International, Fairtrade marketing organisations (FMOs) and producer networks)
- Ensure consistent, harmonised and service-oriented communication between stakeholders and different departments within FLOCERT (e.
g. Business Relations, Central Services and Business & IT Solutions)
- Continuously offer and improve FLOCERTs services for stakeholders
- Connect and network personally and directly with stakeholders at meetings and international events (including visits to stakeholders)
Your qualifications, experience and skills
- University level education (B.A. or equivalent) in a relevant subject (Food Science, Business, Agronomy, Economics, Environmental Science etc.)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in dealing with multiple international stakeholders, e.g. in a certification system, international trade, or related business experience
- Experience with customer relationship building would be advantageous
- Familiarity with the stakeholder environment within the Fairtrade International movement would be asset
- Aptitude to analyze and work with numbers, with the ability to correlate data from multiple sources and work with different types of software solutions
- High command in the use of relevant tools & methodologies (i.e. Power BI, MS Office products - especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English oral and written
- Additional language skills in any of the following languages would be supportive : Spanish, German, French, Italian or Scandinavian language / Dutch
- Reliable and detail-oriented working attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, multicultural sensitivity, customer orientation and precise working style
- Ability to work independently and cope with pressure from a diverse group of stakeholders
- Prior experience with national or international NGOs would support your application
