Your role
Reporting to the Head of FP&A and Investor Relations, the Manager FP&A and Investor relations will partner with all departments of Forto to influence decisions in support of profitable growth.
In this highly visible role key activities include rigorous business partnering, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, management financial reporting and establishment of financial KPIs / standard dashboards to track performance.
Our ideal candidate for this role will need knowledge in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis with a strong technical and analytical background, self-starter mentality, strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
You will
- Support in improving and maintaining Forto’s global Business plan across multiple products in the logistics space, as well as support in quarterly commercial reforecasting
- Analyze the trends of major business KPIs of Forto especially relating to commercial metrics such as volume generation across products and tradelanes, total revenues / gross profit, unit economics, etc
- Co-lead in preparing monthly reporting packages for Forto’s investors
- Support during preparation for the Quarterly board meeting and any ad-hoc investor oriented analysis
- Develop and lead ad-hoc analysis on various to support new strategic initiatives
- Support management team and the Heads of Department with data-driven analysis
- Support in providing Forto executive team a monthly overview of the business performance
- Serve as a sparring partner for Senior Finance leadership team
- Support the reporting and budgeting processes for local departments and overseas entities
- Support Forto through a migration of FP&A planning activities to an external FP&A software
What you bring
- 3-5 years experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A or similar position with emphasis on forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling
- Demonstrated track record of high-performance (e.g. top rank, promotion)
- Willingness to enter a fast paced and dynamic environment, ideally worked for a successful Start-up or a similar working environment such as investment banking / consultancy and ideally have already been part of a global hyper-growth story.
- Deep financial modeling skills that allow you to create insightful financial analyses and provide recommendations for decision making.
- Thereby, you are embracing teamwork and intensive hands-on mentality in your daily routine
- Skill Set : Your affinity for numbers, accuracy and reliability characterize your personality. Strong analytical and quantitative skills and a track record for planning, delivering and auditing work.
Excel and PPT (Gsheets and Gslides) affinity are a must, SQL skills and data analytics are important but not a must.
