Senior HR Specialist – Global Mobility
Job Description
1. Overall manage the full assignment life cycle for assignees coming to Germany : it includes delivering policy and process orientation, monitoring the immigration status for new application & renewal in a timely manner, and sending reports to various stakeholders.
2. Provide pre-assignment, during assignment and repatriation coordination and supports, including but not limited to medical insurance support, cost charge, onboarding preparation, repatriation and etc.
3. Maintain Expat p-file, master working sheet and other necessary reports in a timely manner.
4. Back up with the team member during their out-of-office period.
5. Provide consultancy on questions from business or assignees.
6. Learn and monitor immigration process for global assignees and local hired foreigners, including process orientation, documents collection, application form preparation, online application, progress tracking and communication with relevant parties.
7. Set up internal working process for global assignment, streamline existing process and make continuous improvement during the process or in the system.
8. Participate projects as appropriate.
9. Manage local service providers and provide relocation services in person where appropriate.
10. Understand Germany payroll process and could learn or manage Germany assignee payroll and Individual Income Tax related tasks.
11. Carry out other tasks and duties assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree, and working base in Wuppertal, Leverkusen, or a close city
2. Fluent English, Germany and mandarin in both spoken and written
3. 5 years professional experience in human resources area, preferred HR shared service or payroll related experience, and mobility related experience is a plus.
