Summary
We are looking for a Development Engineer for Optical Metrology (f / m / d) for the Structural Mechanics & AIV department at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.
The Structural Mechanics & AIV department is responsible for the specification, development and realization of complex measurement systems for EUV lithography and space applications.
In close coordination between the project team and the customer, the requirements are defined and a corresponding measurement concept is developed.
The team is also responsible for and supports the technical implementation of the design and the subsequent transfer to production.
Your Tasks
Development of optical measurement systems for the qualification of our products
Conceptual design of optical components in the visual, near and far infrared range
Programming of system components for the automation of measurement procedures and creation of evaluation routines for data analysis
Calculation and simulation of electro-optical performance parameters, electro-optical systems and cameras
Evaluation and selection of measurement principles and methods
Commissioning and optimization of measurement systems / optical components
Acceptance of optical and opto-electronic systems
Analysis and optimization of process sequences
Collaboration in the creation of system specifications and acceptance documents
Close cooperation with specialist departments and suppliers throughout all phases of the product life cycle
Your Profile
Degree in physics, engineering, optics, optoelectronics or mechatronics, ideally with a focus on optical measurement technology or similar
Several years of experience in the development and realization of optical systems or measurement systems in the VIS, SWIR and IR range
Sound experience in the application of optical metrology methods such as interferometry, spectrometry, infrared metrology and photo-radiometry
Good knowledge of MatLab and / or Python for system automation
High level of commitment and assertiveness
Good communication skills and a responsible way of working
Very good German and English skills
