Stellenbeschreibung

For our department Data Protection Office within General Services , we are looking for a (an) :

Data Protection Officer Assistant (m / f / x)

Main duties :

  • Provide legal advice and recommendations on a large variety of data protection topics to all departments within the group;
  • Review contracts and more particularly Data Processing Agreement and SCCs;
  • Assist in responding to data subject requests, including access requests, rectification, and erasure requests;
  • Updating the Record of Processing Activities;
  • Ensure and monitor internal compliancy;
  • Support implementation of policies and procedures;
  • Provide support for project teams to integrate data protection requirements into project plans and deliverables;
  • Collaborate with teams to conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new projects and initiatives, identifying and mitigating privacy risks;
  • Support DPO and work alongside internal stakeholders to contain, recover and respond to data breaches and cyber security incidents;
  • Liaise with supervisory authority;
  • Prepare and provide internal trainings;

Required profile :

Minimum required criteria

  • Master's degree in law or any diploma related to privacy and data protection;
  • In-depth knowledge in GDPR and other applicable law and guidelines from EDPB and CNPD;
  • Previous experience related to privacy and data protection;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal teams and external regulatory bodies;
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively;
  • Capacity to work autonomously;
  • Ability to identify issues and provide pragmatic risk mitigation solution;
  • Fluency in English and French.
