Our company, based in Luxembourg, is part of the WEINIG group. WEINIG is a German group, producing machines and production lines for solid wood and panels production. We benefit of the flexibility of a 50 employees company but with robustness of a wide international group behind us.

We are currently expanding and seeking Service Technicians or Engineers to join our international team in Foetz, Luxembourg.

Your Missions

Supervised by a Service Manager, you will be in charge of handling the installations of our machines at our customers’ factories... As we have a rotation system inside the Service team, there are ‘inhouse’ tasks as well that are part of the daily operation.

Your responsibilities will include :

- Preparation of new machines for a Factory Acceptance by the customer before shipping

- Installation of the machines at the customers factory, mainly in Europe and occasionally outside Europe

- Training of customers on their new machine

- Service for existing machines

- Technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware (vision systems)

- Identification, research, and resolving technical issues for end users

Suggesting improvements for an increased reliability.

Your Profile

- You have a degree in automation, electronics, electrical or computer sciences (minimum Bachelor degree)

- You are open minded and ready to work in a multicultural environment;

- Your strong team spirit is crucial for collaborating on daily tasks with your future colleagues in an open workspace.

- You are also capable of working autonomously

- You have excellent communication (oral and written) skills in English and in German.

- You have proven analytical and problem-solving abilities even under high pressure situations

It would be even more perfect if:

- You have electrical skills or a diploma, which is a strong asset

- You have at least 2-3 years' experience in a similar position is considered an asset.

- You are proactive, flexible and multi-task.

- You have experiences in vision systems

- You are able to manage incident follow-ups and prioritize tasks effectively.
