As they continue their rapid European expansion, we’re supporting them in the search for a talented Compliance Officer to join their team in Munich . This is a key role with broad exposure across the DACH region and wider EU markets.

About the Role

This is a standout opportunity for a compliance professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You’ll work across regulatory frameworks in Germany and beyond, supporting the growth of a well-established fintech that places integrity, innovation, and partnership at its core.

In this role, you won’t just follow policy—you’ll help build it. You’ll be the key compliance contact for Germany, working closely with regulatory authorities, external partners, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead compliance oversight for the DACH and Nordic regions, as well as Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland
• Liaise with German authorities (e.g., BaFin, IHK) and support internal / external audit processes
• Work alongside the client’s external AML Officer and DPO to ensure policies, controls, and reporting remain robust
• Monitor EU regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business
• Ensure marketing, communications, and customer journeys meet regulatory standards
• Prepare bilingual governance documents and facilitate local management meetings
• Support board and committee reporting across EU entities
• Deliver compliance and AML training tailored to staff roles
• Act as a key partner in both new and existing commercial relationships
