Freda is looking for a Brand Content Specialist directly reporting to the Head of Marketing to bring our brand to life through cut-through content people want to watch, share and engage with.

You’ll be the creative force behind our social-first brand storytelling, from developing ideas and recurring formats, capturing what happens behind the scenes at Freda, jumping on trends and turning our products, people and story into compelling content.

This is a hands-on role from start to finish. You’ll come up with concepts, shoot them, get in front of the camera when needed and edit everything into great content. From a spontaneous iPhone video to a recurring Freda content series or a performance ad, you know how to turn an idea into something that stops the scroll.

Aufgaben

• Create content from idea to final edit: Concept, shoot and edit social-first video and photo content for Instagram, TikTok and other relevant channels. You’re hands-on throughout the entire process and comfortable working independently with an iPhone or camera.
• Build Freda stories & formats: Develop recurring content series and recognizable formats that give people a reason to follow Freda beyond our products. Think BTS, team and founders, product stories, launches, retail moments, taste tests and everything else happening around the Freda world.
• Be behind and in front of the camera: You’re comfortable shooting and directing others, but equally happy jumping in front of the camera yourself when the idea calls for it.
• Create content for ads: Work closely with Performance Marketing to develop scroll-stopping paid social creative. Come up with new hooks, concepts and angles, produce different creative iterations and use performance learnings to make the next ad better.
• Own our day-to-day social presence: Help shape how Freda shows up across Instagram and TikTok, from planned content to spontaneous ideas and trends.
• Stay close to social culture: Know what people are watching, talking about and sharing. Spot trends, formats and conversations and find ways to make them unmistakably Freda rather than simply following what everyone else is doing.
• Build our community: Engage with our audience through comments and DMs, spark conversations and help turn customers and followers into genuine Freda fans.
• Learn from what works: Track how content performs, identify patterns and translate those learnings into better concepts, hooks and formats.

Qualifikation

• Experience creating social-first content for Instagram and TikTok (even if it’s just on your personal accounts). We care more about what you can create than a specific number of years on your CV.
• Strong video creation and editing skills. You can take an idea from concept through shooting to a polished final edit.
• A deep understanding of social media trends. Memes, challenges, music, and everything in between.
• Confidence behind and in front of the camera. You enjoy working with people on camera and are comfortable becoming part of the content yourself.
• A good instinct for storytelling and formats. You don't just think post by post – you can see how an idea could become a recurring series or recognizable Freda format.
• A passion for community building. You're approachable, responsive, and excited to engage with Freda’s fanbase.
• Experience or interest in creating content for ads.
• A hands-on, resourceful mindset. You don't need a large production setup to make great content happen.
• A love for food - whether it’s pizza or Frozen Blocks. If it’s delicious, you’re into it!
• You speak the language: You speak our customers’ and team’s language. Therefore, fluency in German and English is a must.
