As the owner and operator, Serco provides essential engineering, technical, and management services, playing a key role in logistics and operational support for satellite missions. Their expertise in ground systems, data processing, and facility management has earned them recognition, including 'Best in Service' awards from partners. The COP2 facility underscores Serco's commitment to excellence and innovation in satellite operations, ensuring reliable data services and mission success.

On behalf of our client, ESOC, we are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Reliability Specialist to join our team in the FOS Virtualisation service at our Serco Spacecraft Operations Centre in Darmstadt, Germany.

Responsibilities :

• Set up, configure, and maintain OpenSearch clusters to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications within Kubernetes environments.
• Monitor system performance continuously and produce reports to support operational improvements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on technical operations.
• Optionally support database infrastructure to ensure data accessibility and integrity.
• Contribute to software development activities, particularly in Java and scripting environments.
• Provide support for Linux-based systems, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
