In this role you will design, build, and optimize scalable ML and GenAI products. You'll be part of our AI team where you will work closely with our AI Product Manager, Lead AI Engineer / Architect, and MLOps engineers to experiment, prototype, and design scalable AI features that bring intelligence, transparency and reliability to our SaaS pricing apps — turning ideas into real, impactful customer experiences.

How you will create an impact :

• Design, prototype, and experiment, transforming new ideas into tangible MVPs and proofs of concept, refined through close collaboration with consultants and clients.
• Develop and scale AI-powered features and data-driven models that address real business challenges within our SaaS pricing applications like forecasting and optimization algorithms.
• Write, test, and iterate on production-quality ML algorithms and data pipelines, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and transparency
• Automate model tuning, derive intelligent feature generation, extraction, and selection
• Collaborate cross-functionally with AI Product Manager, Lead AI Engineer / Architect and MLOps engineers to deploy, monitor, and continuously improve AI models in production.
• Implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure the reliability and performance of AI solutions.
• Stay curious and ahead of the curve, exploring emerging models, tools, and techniques to bring innovative ideas into practice.
• 6–8 years of experience in data science, including hands-on work in AI / ML model development and deployment, with a strong foundation in statistical modeling, optimization and forecasting.
• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with fluency in business English.
• Strong Python programming skills, and experience with ML frameworks.
• Proven ability to design, train, and evaluate ML models — from data preprocessing to performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of cloud environments and MLOps practices such as CI / CD for ML and model monitoring.
• Understanding of data privacy, model safety, and responsible AI principles.
• Clear, collaborative communication style — you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and enjoy working in cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with pricing applications, fintech, or B2B SaaS platforms would be a plus, along with hands-on software engineering experience in Java.

This is a hybrid position with flexible time split between working in our Berlin office and remote working.
