Job Title : Java Developer

Client : Techniker Krankenkasse (TK)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team, supporting the digital health initiatives of Techniker Krankenkasse (TK). This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital health applications (DiGA) and contribute to the modernization of healthcare communication systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement solutions for digital health applications (DiGA) at TK.
Conceptualize and create modern applications such as DiGA, eVerordnung, and VAU communication.
Collaborate closely with specialist departments and IT experts to deliver effective and scalable solutions.
Engage in tasks related to electronic files, archiving, document capture, electronic legal communication, and healthcare communication (KIM).

Work Environment and Terms :

Location : 40% on-site in Hamburg, 60% remote.

Work Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Contract Duration : 10 months (March 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025).

Salary : €84,000 annually (€7,000 monthly).

Qualifications and Skills :

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in Java 11 / 17, Java EE, Eclipse, Intellij, Confluence, Jira, Github, OSGiOpenShift, Jenkins, Mockito, and JUnit 5.

Strong knowledge of SpringBoot, YAML, Oracle, and Oracle SQL Developer.

Domain Expertise :

Experience with Telematics Infrastructure, DiGA, eVerordnung, VAU communication, and FHIR.

Proven experience in at least one project within the statutory health insurance (GKV) domain.

Educational Background :

University degree in (business) informatics (Master or equivalent) or comparable proven knowledge.

Professional Experience :

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java software development and the development of service-oriented IT systems.

Demonstrated expertise in Java technologies (e.g., JUnit 5, Jakarta EE, JPA, Mockito).

Prior experience in project work is highly desirable.

Personal Attributes :

Strong analytical and conceptual skills.

Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
