Job Title: Sales Engineer
Location: Munich, Germany
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: €40,000 – €70,000 gross/year
Bonus: 15–20% performance-based bonus
Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Munich. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen and is ideal for someone eager to build long-term client relationships while contributing to business growth in high-tech sectors such as defense, aerospace, and civil applications.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development

Identify and develop new business opportunities in Germany and selected international markets

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders

Actively manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
Sales & Marketing Collaboration
-
Support sales strategies in line with the Sales Managers direction

Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, and industry events

Contribute to marketing and promotional materials with technical insights
Technical Consultancy

Serve as a technical advisor to customers, understanding their needs and recommending suitable solutions

Clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Maintain strong knowledge of electronic components and systems
Customer Relationship Management
-
Manage existing client accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation
-
Maintain disciplined and consistent use of CRM systems and sales follow-ups
Product Presentations
-
Support and eventually lead technical presentations and product demonstrations

Learn and deliver structured sales pitches with confidence
Market Intelligence
-
Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies

Report insights related to GNSS, RF, and Radio Navigation technologies
Requirements
-
Work Authorization: Must hold German citizenship
-
Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Experience: Experience or strong interest in technical sales, account management, or sales engineering (defense or aerospace is a plus)

Technical Skills: Strong technical understanding of electronic systems and components

Fluent German (spoken and written)

Mobility: Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally abroad
