The Logistics Head of Operations role presents a challenging yet rewarding opportunity at the intersection of analytical and creative thinking, with a significant impact on both our people and our business.
As a member of the Logistics Management Team you will report directly and be the right arm to the Logistics Country Director for Germany, based in Berlin.
Key responsibilities :
Strategy and Operations :
- Act as one of the leading forces for our German market, develop and champion the strategy with the operations management team, and mobilise resources to execute the strategy.
- Identify and deliver growth initiatives such as geographic expansion, restaurant delivery area optimisation and service time extensions.
- Be accountable for the quality of delivery service and associated KPI’s that impact couriers, customers, restaurants.
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to build strategies and inform decision making
- Ensure the delivery service is operated compliantly and with a high regard for the safety of all stakeholders involved
- Lead operational efforts with potential 3rd party logistics providers
- Identify, assess and prepare for potential changes in the regulatory environment impacting the business
