We are Group Finance & Tax, a diverse team with more than 70 colleagues based in Metzingen. Our aim is to become the leading tech-driven Finance & Tax team for our customers and beyond. Our role is pivotal in ensuring accurate application of accounting and tax regulations, and in delivering comprehensive financial statements for transparency across the Group. In line with our 'We love to support, we need to protect' mission, we develop streamlined Accounting / Tax / Treasury processes and guidelines, while advising our internal customers on operational enhancements and strategic initiatives always striving to actively contribute to the successful implementation of the CLAIM 5 growth strategy.

As the Global Head of Tax, you are the strategic leader navigating the complexities of international and national tax regulations. Your expertise is crucial in driving tax compliance, optimizing tax strategies and supporting the Group's financial goals in a dynamic environment. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President Group Finance & Tax.

What you can expect :

• Team Leadership and Enablement : Lead and develop a high-performing team of 13 tax professionals, fostering their personal and professional growth in an evolving landscape of business practices, technologies and regulations.
• Tax Business Partnering : Act as the primary tax co-pilot for management, business functions and international subsidiaries on all matters related to international and national tax law (CIT, WHT, VAT, and ETX) to create customized, tax-efficient solutions.
• Tax Compliance and Project Leadership : Oversee the tax compliance management system (TCMS) to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations. Drive key tax projects, including the implementation of Pillar Two - Global Minimum Tax and e-Invoicing regulations, developing policies and controls to mitigate tax risks and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Strategic Tax Planning : Provide value-adding tax guidance on digital business models, cross-border restructurings, and M&A activities while closely collaborating with business owners to support the strategic needs of the Group.
• Transfer Pricing Management : Oversee the analysis and optimization of transfer pricing structures within the Group, ensuring compliance and alignment with Corporate Controlling.
• Tax Accounting & Reportingg : Manage the preparation and submission of all tax returns for German entities, coordinate all group-wide tax reporting matters and drive continuous improvement in Tax Accounting process efficiency and governance.
• Tax Audits and Dispute Resolution : Lead and manage tax audits and controversy matters, including court proceedings, mutual agreement procedures, both domestically and internationally.
