At the Fraunhofer IPT in Aachen, we work with more than 530 employees every day to make the production of the future more digital, more flexible and more sustainable. In the department , we deal with the development of automated and robust production processes for the manufacture of cell and gene therapies.

As a student assistant you support our team with carrying out everyday laboratory work, conducting experiments and implementing laboratory automation.

Here you partly work on your tasks on site in our institute / in our laboratories.

What you will do

• Support in working on exciting (research) projects
• Implementation of cell cultivations on different scales (plates / bioreactor) and performing the associated quality controls
• Collaboration in in the solution-oriented implementation of laboratory automation in an interdisciplinary team
