Excellent opportunity for a professional from a Production / Manufacturing environment to join a worldwide company in a newly created position where you will have the chance to lead the production function and make rapid changes to a site whilst developing in a specialised environment.
The company are global business, spanning 3 continents, specialising in specialist manufacturing processes for a variety of industries, including but not limited to Aerospace, Automotive & Medical. Having been around for almost a century, this company have continued to grow and expand. In order to move their key site in Langenselbold into the future they are looking for a Production Manager for their 20 person strong team.
The core responsibilities of this role will be to work closely with the Regional Manager and lead a specialised team who are involved in multiple disciplines. You will take change of continuous improvement practices and implement a Health and Safety culture at the site. The role is majority site based with occasional and infrequent travel.
The right candidate will be qualified engineer and have worked in a transferable manufacturing environment, preferably from a regulated industry, with experience leading a moderately sized team of people and have a keen eye for health and safety practices and continuous improvement practices.
