StellenbeschreibungCompleted vocational training as an aircraft mechanic with at least 3 years of professional experience with wide-body aircraft (preferably in a large maintenance company). Owner of Part 66 CAT B1 or CAT B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence. In-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance and organisational requirements for flight safety, security, quality, airworthiness and general airline operations Comprehensive understanding of the European legal and regulatory framework and other statutory requirements Strong interpersonal skills Decisiveness and assertiveness to find flexible, creative solutions in a complex environment Proven analytical skills Quality of service Self-confidence, self-motivation, sense of responsibility and ability to delegate and work under high time pressure Very good knowledge of MS Office and programmes such as AIMS, TRAX, AMOS, Netline
Job Description
The MCC Coordinator is the direct contact person for the network and all maintenance stations within the network. He / she ensures the technical operation of all maintenance events on the serviced aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Planning and coordination of maintenance work in order to determine the operational capability of the aircraft within the ground times and the required capacities.
- Provide technical support to all Part 145 outstations on all issues.
- Support in maintenance planning
- Continuously track the expected release times for the non-operational aircraft and initiate actions to minimise the impact on the air traffic network
- Close cooperation with the MOC
- Continuous monitoring of deferred complaints (MDDRs) regarding their correct entry into the TRAX software programme for the maintenance stations
- Verification of the completeness of incoming aircraft documents from the maintenance stations & Base
- Determination of measures for the rapid elimination of deferred complaints (MDDR items)
- Timing of the deferred complaints (MDDRs) in cooperation with the MOC.
- Coordination of work packages together with Work Preparation
- Direct coordination of the complaints with the Troubleshooting and Engineering Department
- Monitoring and allocation of Real Time Planning data
- Coordination and support of third-party activities as required
- Issuing external orders to subcontractors according to maintenance requirements
- Updating the fleet status on a daily basis
- Immediately informing the departments when the fleet status changes
- Notifying maintenance contractor of planned maintenance changes that affect scheduled time on the ground
- Arranging "Flying Spanner" for specific aircraft routes and additional charters for staff.
- Other tasks arising from the operational business
- Working closely with all MCC officers
- Coordination of daily requests to the MCC
- Written and telephone correspondence in all operational matters
- Monitoring and ensuring maintenance and layover reporting to all assigned trades
- Performing special tasks and project work
- Observe company policy
- Follow efficiency of processes and suggest process improvements
