At BARFERS Wellfood we develop and produce premium dog and cat food based on the BARF principle (Biologically Appropriate Raw Feeding).
In our own Berlin-based manufactory we create over 280 products which we sell through our online shop eight stores in Berlin Potsdam and Hamburg as well as through selected B2B partners .

Tasks
Were looking for a Mid React Native Developer to join our product engineering team and help build world-class mobile e-commerce experiences. Youll take ownership of app development from architecture to deployment collaborating closely with design backend and data teams to deliver scalable performant and customer-focused mobile products.
Youll play a key role in shaping our Shopify-integrated mobile ecosystem improving app performance and driving innovation in how users interact with our online store. At the beginning you will report directly to the CTO.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development : Build test and maintain React Native app for iOS and Android focused on Shopify-powered e-commerce experiences .
- Architecture & Code Quality : Design and implement clean maintainable and scalable codebases following modern React Native and Shopify best practices.
- Integration : Connect mobile apps with Shopify APIs custom storefronts and backend services.
- Collaboration : Work closely with UI / UX designers backend engineers and the data team to ensure seamless and data-driven customer journeys.
- Performance Optimization : Identify and fix performance bottlenecks ensuring smooth user interactions and optimized checkout flows.
- Continuous Improvement : Contribute to CI / CD pipelines automated testing and release processes.
Requirements
Experience : 36 years of professional software development with 2 years in React Native and experience building Shopify-integrated mobile apps or E-Commerce platforms .
