IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR

As Head of Maintenance Reliability Engineering & MRO (m/f/d) at Envalior, you will lead the maintenance organization at the Krefeld-Uerdingen site, ensuring that all maintenance activities are executed safely, on time, and cost-efficiently in compliance with legal and internal requirements. You will actively manage and develop multidisciplinary teams while closely collaborating with production to secure plant availability and achieve production targets. Additionally, you'll embrace a pioneering spirit, exploring new maintenance strategies, reliability methods, and digital solutions to contribute to our values and mission.

You will make key contributions to Envalior:

• Lead site maintenance for the business lines Performance Materials, Specialty Materials, and Intermediates (PA6 polymerization, compounding, filling & logistics, laboratory, and workshop)
• Manage and develop a team of approximately 45 employees, including supervisors, engineers, technicians, craftsmen, and external contractors
• Own and control the maintenance budget in the eight-figure range
• Act as process owner for Manufacturing Excellence processes: Do Maintenance, Improve Equipment Reliability, and MRO
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, standards, and norms (e.g. IATF 16949, DIN 31051, DIN EN 13306, ISO 55000) while driving continuous improvement

Requirements

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Strong expertise in industrial maintenance, asset management, and reliability engineering within a production environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a high level of initiative.
• More than 5 years of professional experience in a leading maintenance function.
• Completed Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Fluent German and English skills (C1 level).
