The Role
As a Solution Engineer, you design scalable, future-proof architectures that integrate the ClearOps platform into OEM and dealer IT landscapes. You act as a trusted advisor, translating complex business and technical requirements into structured solution concepts and guiding customers through technical evaluations and integration planning.
With your experience in supply chain planning and inventory management, you build trust and rapport with prospects and customers and identify process-related pain points that can be addressed through the ClearOps product portfolio.
You are the technical seller in the sales cycle, owning all product- and technology-related aspects of the deal from discovery and demos to technical validation and handover into implementation.
Your profile
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Delivery:
- Manage all activities during solution ideation, design, and implementation to meet client needs
- Assess current system architectures and business processes, recommending improvements where necessary
- Lead the technical side of the sales cycle together with the Account Executive, from discovery through demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical validations
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for prospects and customers during the pre-sales phase, ensuring all product-, architecture-, and integration-related questions are addressed
Implementation, Integration & Enablement:
- Own the transition from signed deal to implementation by preparing use cases, business requirements, business processes, and functional documentation
- Configure software to align with business requirements and validate system outputs or guide other resources on the implementation (internal teams, implementation partners)
- Define and document strategies, including creating UAT scenarios, to ensure the promised pre-sales solution is successfully delivered
- Provide functional training to end-users and support teams
- Resolve technical challenges during implementation and ensure seamless project delivery
- Contribute to the development of reusable components and accelerators to improve efficiency
- Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to clients
Who You Are:Requirements:
- A strong foundation in technical skills, complemented by the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions
- Proven career trajectory starting in technical roles (e. g., software development, data engineering) and evolving into a Solution Architect/Solution Engineercapacity
- At least 5-6 years of experience implementing supply chain management solutions like Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Syncron and o9 with a focus on Forecasting/Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Distribution Planning, Capacity Planning, and Production Planning
- Strong plus: Celonis experience
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions
- Very strong leadership, ethics, and communication skills
- Exceptional decision-making and organizational skills, with the maturity to lead and manage cross-functional teams
- Strong verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teamsand engage withstakeholders at various levels
- Language skills: fully proficient in German (DACH market) and English (company language)
Technology Awareness:
- Understanding of emerging technologies, including machine learning and AI applications in the supply chain domain
- Familiarity with cloud architectures, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and data integration patterns
Adaptability and Drive:
- A self-starter with a proactive mindset and a passion for supply chain management
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate global project demands
