To strengthen our Translation Team in Darmstadt, we are looking for you as a Translation Coordinator (m/w/d) (part time) As Translation Coordinator, you will handle and monitor translation projects and work on improving the existing procedures. You will work closely together with the Technical Writer team, the development department, the marketing department and quality management. When performing translations for exocad’s medical applications, you will ensure that the translation projects are performed according to the regulatory requirements for medical products. The main tasks include Coordination of translation projects with internal and external resources Creation and maintenance of translation databases and glossaries Testing translations in the user interface of our software products Working on a technical infrastructure for handling translations with internal and external tools (e.g. TRADOS) Help to improve existing workflows and procedures in translation coordination The personal requirements University Degree as professional translator or experience as translator and/or in translation management 3+ years experience in a similar position Excellent language skills in English (written and spoken), one more language on native level, ideally German skills Excellent communication skills Ideally familiar with commonly used translation tools, e.g. TRADOS Desirably experience in using CAD software Good understanding of MS Office tools and ideally familiar with further formats, like LaTeX and XML Good technical understanding and ability to learn new technical topics quickly What we offer you Part time possible between 20 and 32 hours a week – depending on your personal situation 30 days of vacation for a five working day solution (even if part time) Home Office for two days a week (Mo+Fr) Canteen with own cooks with meat and vegan/vegetarian food from Mo-Fr Well tasting coffee from Siebträger coffee machines and various milk variants.
