How you will create an impact :

• You lead multiple high-impact, end-to-end data science projects.
• You promote the benefits, use cases, and impact of machine learning and AI both internally to senior leadership and externally to clients.
• You expand and upskill the data science team by recruiting top talent, onboarding new members, and advancing the capabilities of existing team members.
• You help build the Simon-Kucher brand in the analytics community by participating in forums, writing blog posts, and defining the overall strategy for the team.
• You utilize your expertise in machine learning and AI to develop innovative pricing, marketing, and sales strategies for clients across various industries (mobility, IoT, industrials, consumer goods, financial services, and nonprofit organizations).
• You drive business development by serving as the data science expert on highly innovative and analytical project opportunities.
• You exchange insights on the latest data trends during engaging team discussions.
• You put your attention to detail to good use by conducting research and monitoring changes in the advanced analytics market.

About you :

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• You bring a unique blend of data science knowledge, deep industry expertise, and consulting experience, and you’re eager to apply your vast skillset.
• You have at least four to five years of experience working in data science, ideally in a client-facing or management role.
• You’ve successfully managed data science teams and mentored (junior) data scientists
• As an expert communicator, you simplify complex technical topics and clearly convey them to senior business executives.
• With your extensive experience solving diverse business problems across industries, you’re excited to apply your abilities to impactful projects.
• You’re naturally curious, open to learning new technologies and strategies, and you stay up to date with the latest trends.
• You demonstrate strong modeling skills in a programming language of your choice (e.g., Python, R).
• Your proficiency in applying AI and ML methods like Random Forest, Neural Networks, and Support Vector Machines sets you apart.
• You have solid knowledge of common cloud-based machine learning platforms.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and German is essential.
