Transition Partners is seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to support an innovative FinTech company in Germany. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and drive cutting-edge network solutions.
As a Senior System Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our network infrastructure.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deliver high-performance, secure network solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee / manage LAN and WAN infrastructure across multiple remote sites and data centers.
- Administer / maintain a robust security posture by managing VPN gateways, proxies, and traffic managers.
- Drive the evolution of network environments through the implementation of new technologies.
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments to safeguard IT assets.
- Provide advanced technical support by resolving complex incidents and problems in accordance with ITIL best practices.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to plan and execute network-related projects.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Strong proficiency in networking protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Extensive experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) from leading vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto)
- In-depth knowledge of Windows / Linux server environments
- Strong understanding of general security
- Proficiency within various security gateways and servers
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
