In Revenue and Operations department, the mission is to promote, sell, onboard, and service the products built by our technical teams and departments.

This means a deep focus on a 360-degree commercial strategy that helps take new products to market and promote and maximize clients’ usage and experience with existing products.

Reporting to the SVP Global Sales & Partnerships / DACH, the Vice President Retail Media is an integral commercial leader within Adform’s global sales and partnerships leadership team and a key influencer internally, ensuring that the company strategy is aligned to Retail Media as a new business area.

The candidate is responsible for leading all new business initiatives for Retail Media in Europe. The role includes managing a team of salespeople at senior- and mid-level and working at the most senior levels within retailers, selling our products and services.

A thought leader in the marketplace, with proven and strong relationships with retailers in Europe and the ability to win new business in this emerging channel.

This is a global role operating in a matrix organization, the successful candidate will lead the strategy and deliver the projected revenue growth in strong alignment with our regional leadership.

  • Lead Retail Media sales in Europe and win new clients to achieve financial targets
  • Execute upon a given Retail Media strategy, identifying key growth opportunities in key European markets
  • Work closely with the global and regional leadership and in-market sales teams to deliver on local / regional opportunities
  • Align closely with global and local enterprise sales teams on client opportunities
  • Bring relationships with senior stakeholders within retailers and develop sales tactics to deliver projected revenue growth
  • Act as an evangelist for Adform at a European level, raising awareness of the company’s position in the Retail Media space
  • Lead and develop a lean but senior team of salespeople
  • Act as a resource / role model for other team members by sharing best practices. Drive knowledge sharing and actively engage into cross-functional / cross-regional collaboration to advance strategy and revenue objectives

  • Have strong and proven network across senior stakeholders within European retailers and a good understanding of retailer's landscape, dynamics and needs
  • Have proven track record in growing successful retail media sales and delivering significant revenue growth through this channel
  • Can demonstrate a good knowledge of AdTech, MarTech solutions and the Media Industry
  • Have excellent skills in managing sales pipeline and executing on growth opportunities
  • Have excellent communication skills (both with clients and within the team)
  • Are a confident presenter with the ability to effectively use storytelling & facilitate internal and external meetings
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills applied on different levels of seniority
  • Can simplify technical concepts to non-technical audiences and adapt the communication style and message content to different types of audience
  • Are able to provide and receive constructive feedback
