Senior Legal Counsel
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal team, they would provide a full range of legal support on all kind of PV legal project related matters, with a particular focus on the transactional phase (M&A).
The main function will be to provide legal support to project development and transactional activities from their early stage to their implementation with a focus on the German market, but with some international exposure.
- Drafting and negotiating MOU, Terms Sheets and JV Agreements.
- Providing legal support during the lifecycle of the PV projects, especially during the transactional phase (M&A)
- Support and review of general project contracts (EPC, O&M and AMA mainly)
- Provide legal support during PPA negotiation and Project Finance phase.
- Instructing and managing external legal advisors
Qualifications
- Law degree (German Preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (law firm or in-house), ideally in cross border scenarios
- Proficiency in negotiation of contracts (SPAs, JVs, EPC and PPAs) in German and English language
- Proactive and team player.
- Ability to identify and manage complex legal issues across several jurisdictions
- You enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
German and English full professional competence is mandatory
